Evergreen Life Services residential homes
that serve between one and three people with developmental disabilities. The
emphasis is upon active treatment designed to help the individual become more
independent. These services are provided in a normal home environment.
Individuals in these homes receive training in activities of daily living to
prepare them for independent living or participation in a less restrictive
Provides services on a long-term basis
that are geared for either children or adults with developmental disabilities
who live with their families, and involves an individualized system of supports
based on family and individual in a variety of adaptive skills.
Supported Employment programs are
provided to ensure all individuals who want to work have an opportunity. We
strive to assist people with disabilities locate real work for competitive
wages. Evergreen Life Service staff are trained as effective job coaches and
provide assistance that facilitates the individual to thrive and be a
productive contributor to the work force. The goal of Supported Employment is
to provide a solid skill set to our individuals, so that they may someday be
able to work independently.
Vocational and Pre-Vocational Training
Provides opportunities for people to
develop work and functional life skills. Vocational services provide a place
outside the home for individuals with all types of disabilities to be active,
socialize with their peers, and to learn skills to join the workforce.
Additionally, individuals who do not live with Evergreen Life Services, but
participate in a vocational program, allows time for their caregivers to work
outside the home, attend to their own needs or the needs of other family
members, or travel on a long- or short-term basis.
